Ropoah Concession

The Ropoah project is located 230km north west of Phnom Penh in the province of Mondulkiri, and is approximately 5 km east-north-east of the Company's Antrong Concession. This Concession has an area of 11km2 and shares a very similar geological setting to the rest of the Mondulkirri mineral field and particularly that of Antrong. The Ropoah Concession covers the north-eastern margin of the Antrong granodiorite, along with the alteration halo, and then extends into the surrounding sediment (see Figure 2).

Figure 2. Geological Setting of Antrong and Ropoah concessions

The two controlling factors of the mineralisation in this area come from the fractures that occurred during the granodiorite emplacement and with the axial plane cleavage of the folded sediments.
